Flexstone is a Seamless Waterproofing Membrane Installed on Concrete or Wood
During the 1990s in Vancouver, Flexstone experimented with various urethane waterproofing products to create a cold-applied waterproof coating that would benefit our customers and meet the requirements of engineers and envelope consultants.
Using standard urethanes on sundecks in most applications found locally failed to meet our standards and was unpleasant to work with. The available products were solvent-based, thin, difficult to work with, and, most importantly, lacked the flexibility needed for our climate.
Flexstone is Canada’s premier sundeck waterproofing system and one of the country’s fastest-growing waterproofing systems.
FS Coatings and Flexstone Ontario combined to provide materials to dealers in Ontario, Quebec, and other Eastern provinces, including Bermuda, Jamaica, and the Bahamas.

Our product meets the criteria for building envelope installations. Flexstone meets and exceeds the requirements set out for a roofing membrane walking surface. We offer full CCMC approvals and are listed in the building code as a waterproof membrane.
We work to provide a quality installation, clean up during and after installation, may leave some paint chips on surfaces but they will breakdown over time and will not affect plants as it is acrylic paint chips.
